Welcome!

Northeast EMS (Region 4) is the emergency medical services council serving Penobscot, Hancock, Piscataquis, and Washington counties (12,968 square miles).

Located in Rangeley Hall on the campus of Eastern Maine Community College in Bangor, Northeast EMS provides initial EMS education (first responder through paramedic) and coordinates EMS continuing education for all ambulance, fire/rescue, and first responder services in the region. Through EMCC, Northeast EMS also offers an A.A.S. in Emergency Medical Services degree program.

In addition to EMS coordination, Northeast EMS offers first aid and CPR courses to local businesses and the general public through the American Heart Association and National Safety Council. We have many conveniently scheduled on-site classes.  We also offer CPR recertification.

PARAMEDIC APPLICATIONS ARE NOW AVAILABLE!
